Clemson Convergence: Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a free, mid-day networking event designed to bring together faculty, staff, and researchers interested in entrepreneurship, innovation, science and technology. You should attend if you:

• Want to share your ideas about entrepreneurship and innovation.

• Want to improve the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.

• Are looking for research collaborations with scholars from other disciplines.

• Believe that Clemson Means Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Convergence will kick off with a panel discussion from 10:00 am to 11:30 am in the Watt Center auditorium, followed by a networking reception from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Watt Center atrium.

People from all colleges, scholarly disciplines, and roles at Clemson are encouraged to attend!

Interactive Panel Discussion

The Clemson Convergence Interactive Panel Discussion, titled “Personal Journeys in Entrepreneurship and Innovation,” features panelists including John Ballato (Materials Science), John Hannon (Spiro Institute), Andrew Hurely (Packaging Science), Chad Navis (Management), and Brian Stearns (MBAe Alumnus) who explore how their own personal journey was impacted by entrepreneurship, innovation, science, and technology. The audience will be encouraged to ask questions of the panelists and share their thoughts.

Networking Reception

The Clemson Convergence Networking Reception will be held in the Watt Center Atrium from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Key resources and organizations that support the research, teaching, and practice of entrepreneurship and innovation will be present to share about their organizations and form partnerships with attendees. Light refreshments will be provided.
